Hello hello! I’m here to brag again. Kind of?? Well, I just
need to write this down in case I might forget about these things I’m going to
write in the future so here we go.
Why chasing infinite?
Well, I was indeed chasing infinite during their time here
in Indonesia. Okay not really………..okay maybe a little bit. But before I tell
you the reason, I’m going to tell you a little story (and yes it’s connected to
the whole chasing infinite thingy) about how I wasn’t sure to go to see
Infinite.
As you know, I’ve been saving for SHINee’s concert if they
ever planned to hold a concert here this year (they don’t). I was a little bit
hesitant on spending it for Infinite’s concert, not to mention the ticket price
was no joke although I’ve kinda predicted it beforehand but still it was really
expensive if you asked me. Beside all the money related problem, I wasn’t
really active in the fandom so I didn’t know as much as I should to be
considered their loyal fan. Also, I didn’t know which section should I chose,
my friends already fixed their mind on a certain section while me, I wasn’t
even sure whether I’d be going or not.
Long story short, I gave my mom the right to decide whether
I’d be going or not by keep asking her to pay my flight fare.
And paid my flight fare she did.
And even by then there were times when I wanted to bail out,
I haven’t bought the concert ticket. But the thought of going to see Woohyun in
person was really tempting. The next day, I purchased my ticket.
They also had uhm “”””””””lucky draw””””””” thingy but you
already know how unlucky I am with those kind of things. Whatever.
Now, I’m going to tell you about the actual story…
My flight was a day before the concert. It was supposed to
be around 8/9 in the morning but it was delayed which was a good thing because
then the plane landed just an hour before Infinite’s (they flew from
Singapore). I was having a cold like I didn’t even want to imagine if I had to
wait for an hour longer with my condition back then. Thankfully, there weren’t
that many people in the airport, it was a relieved indeed. I was so tired and I
hadn’t enough sleep the night before and I didn’t feel like I’d stuck myself
into a stuffy environment.
My friends (my college friends) asked me to take a picture
of me since they probably doubt that I was indeed in Jakarta then. So I did,
and you know what they said?? “Go wash your face.” Or in other words, I look
horrible. I did though. My parents fussed about me having a cold and I should
wear warm clothes despite how hot the day was. I didn’t put any make up either.
I was such a mess.
There was a middle aged man who came to the group of
inspirits that I was waiting with, he told us that he just got back from
Singapore to accompany his daughter to see Infinite and his daughter was in the
same flight as Infinite. He told us that Infinite were such fine and polite
guys and he kept praising them, it made my heart swell with pride. And he told
us that Infinite might went out in the exact gate that we were at back then.
Long story short, they didn’t.
Their fansite masters who went out at the gate that we were
waiting at told us that Infinite were going on the other gate, and by then we
were ruuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnninggggg through gate to gate and finally caught up
with them. It was so funny. A bunch of teenage girls running around the
airport, some of us were wearing heels and bringing cameras. We did get a lot
of attention from people at the airport.
And me………. I didn’t know what was got into me, I ran and ran
and my chest hurt so bad and I couldn’t breathe probably because of my cold,
but I kept running. It was crazy.
Then, I saw them. I’m not sure whether I saw Sunggyu or
Sungyeol or Sungjong at first. I think it was Sungjong. He was soooooooooooo
pretty and his skin was so sgdkfdhkjfbs I felt bad seeing him with all of his
glory and me looking like a hobo. I should’ve put some make up to make myself
look a little more presentable, not that they would notice me in anyway but I
was really a mess. Eww
Then someone screamed “sunggyu oppa!” right behind me right
before I saw the one and only Kim Sunggyu, walking with his mask on. I remember
loud and clear how he looked back then……and oh dear Lord his legs…………I love his
legs. I was too mesmerized by his legs that I almost missed the one in front of
him….
Nam Woohyun.
Woohyun was walking before him but the bodyguard and Sunggyu
was really tall that I almost couldn’t see him. Then Woohyun turned his head
toward me (and all the inspirits around me but come ooonnnn) and………you know
that feeling when your world suddenly stop and all of the things around you
doesn’t matter, and the only thing that matter is right here and now and the
eyes in front of you? (what?).
My world stopped.
It was just a second but HE FREAKING LOOKED BACK AT US HE
WAS SO GDSFJKKAKDJSHJFNSAWNS I SWEAR I FELL MORE IN LOVE WITH HIM IN THAT 1
SECOND SPAN HOW DID IT EVEN HAPPEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND ALL I KNOW HE WAS SO
HFBDHDJSJDHFDNS NAM WOOHYUN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
I’m not gonna tell you what happened next because it was so
embarrassing but it was so worth it. Guilty pleasure???
I didn’t see Myungsoo, Howon and Dongwoo at the airport. I
still felt bad about it since I really want to see Myungsoo’s airport fashion (or
I just want to see Myungsoo in person).
And that was the story of me chasing infinite at the airport
but not really. It was indeed one of the funniest experiences that I
experienced since I became a “kpoper”. it was tiring, but fun, but it was so so
so so tiring.
The next day was the day of the concert.
We arrived a little bit late but thank you to my friend’s
friends who was so nice and so thoughtful, God bless their kind hearts for
taking us to their line so we didn’t end up being at the furthest back of the
queue.
Oh right. So, the promoter this time was also the promoter
who brought SHINee last year. That was one of the reasons I didn’t feel like
attending it. Since, you know….
Well, this year they were really awesome. They were able to
manage the crowd better than I expected. A little bit strict since there
weren’t that many fancams during this concert because many cameras were
confiscated. Above all, A+ for the promoter.
One of the lucky things being in my section was that the
place that we were queuing at was near the entrance where Infinite had to go
through. Once again, I was able to saw them (not really though, since they had
blind all over the fence that we could barely see them but whatever) before the
concert. And since I was among the lucky people who got to be queuing near the
entrance, we could listen to the soundcheck loud and clear.

They let us in one hour before the concert. Which was great
if it wasn’t the fact that I was wearing 12 cms heels and we had to stand as
long as the wait. During that 1 hour, the music videos were playing. When they
started playing the solos mvs, I was torn between wanting and not wanting to
see Delicious music video there on an Infinite’s concert. I wanted to see their
reaction about toheart but at the same time I didn’t want to see it. The whole
dramas around toheart’s promotion wasn’t really my thing.
They did play the Delicious’ music video though. And the
reaction wasn’t that good. Nopppeee I didn’t want to talk about it again, if
you’re following me on my twitter you’d know.
Finally. The concert started at 3 pm-ish. And here’s the
setlist also my thoughts on every performance.
- Before the Dawn: they appeared so majestically but my eyes were instantly in search of a certain guy with a blonde hair. I didn’t really pay attention to the rest during the performance I could only saw Woohyun. I’m such a Woohyun’s trash……………… oh oh and I SAW THE SCORPION DANCE RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THAT MOVE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Paradise : one of my favorite songs of them. I can’t remember anything beside……..Woohyun.
- Be Mine
- Ment 1: This was the time when I took a good look on Sunggyu since he was standing the nearest from me. His skin was no joke. His eyes were reaaaaaaaaaaalllllyyy small but that’s what I love about him~~~ Anyway, they introduced themselves in Bahasa like “Halo, saya xx”. Also they did a little bit showing off about their ability to speak English, they kept saying “I love you” and all the cheesy stuffs along the way. Myungsoo’s was the memorable one for me, he said “Halo, Saya pacar kalian, L” and the crowd went crazy because of it. Sungjong and Howon did say something else but I can’t remember it. Howon apologized for not being able to dance, he said that in Bahasa. Of course someone had prepared it for him and he read them but still we chanted“괜찮아” for him. It was really touching u,u. sooooooo I’ve been to 2 concerts and both of them have almost the same thing to say on their 1st ment, “It’s been so long since we came here. We’ve missed you guys so much”. It was cheesy but yeaaaahhh the fans love those cheesy stuffs ;)
- Destiny : They had a dance break!!!!!!
- Tic Toc
- Love Letter : Woohyun’s high note<3333333333 . (this blog is going to be so woohyun biased I swear)
- Footsteps : They were in sitting position and Sungjong was right in front of me. Sungjong is so pretty. I, once again, feel bad that I was in such a state and he was so inhumanely beautiful. He kept smiling and wave awwwww so handsome. I didn’t know where Woohyun was. I was too immersed at how pretty Sungjong was.
- Between Me and You : My favorite song from the album. I can’t remember anything beside the fact that I sang along to this song. And of course Sunggyu’s, Myungsoo’s, Woohyun’s high notes~~~~~~~ oh and that Woohyun’s improvisation :3
- Everyday : WOOHYUN’S SOLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Asjdvjhfkjkhdbfjhdvsa he was so asjhdvfyjghkjsfddkjn you know like NAM WOOHYUN I LOVE YOU I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY I JUST LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND SEEING HIM PERFORMING HIS SELF COMPOSED SONG ON THE STAGE ALL BY HIMSELF AND HIM RUNNING AROUND THE STAGE LIKE HE OWNED IT OF AND HOW THE LIGHT SHONE SO BRIGHT ON HIM AND HOW HE HIT THOSE HIGH NOTE I COULDN’T BREATHE HE WAS REALLY AMAZING I JUST LOVE EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Sorry I’m busy + Pretty : H’s solo stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I’m busy is my favorite song of fly again and I’m so happy they actually performed it on stage for infinite effect. Dongwoo flashed his chocolate abs a little bit *fans my self because its hotness*. Also, Dongwoo’s solo dance break T.T During Pretty though, you know that song has fanchant right, well…….we didn’t really do it because they made us do the “say yeaaaahhh~~~” thingy, of course we did that instead. To sum it up, the stage was really fun!!!!!!!
- Kontrol : Sunggyu’s solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sunggyu didn’t dance to the song, he sang with a stand mic so there wasn’t really much movements during it. We sang along with him also did the fanchant at the same time. and when I thought I couldn’t love him more than I did, I was wrong, I fell in love with him deeper because of that performance. It was really amazing. Everything about him is so amazing. I love him so much T.T T.T
- Heartbeat + My Girl : F’s stage!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you put the three of them together alone in the stage, you’ll see how handsome and handsome and so handsome like they are really handsome and adorable and just the epitome of handsome?????? They were throwing dolls during the performance (I didn’t get them of course). They also came down off the stage AND THEY WERE SO CLOSE TO ME AND THEY WERE REALLY SHINING??????????? Oh right, about their singing ability. It’d be a lie if I said they were as amazing as the others but, they have the voice you know. Myungsoo killed the high note and I was really in aweeeeeeeeeeeeeee. They were amazing in their own way<3 <3 <3
- Last Romeo Original Version Mv : It has a different intro from the other version. The best part of this MV is that all of them actually included in the story and not like the (I don’t even know which one is the original one tbh) one that Woohyun lead. The one that saddens me is that this was their first comeback song that I actually followed from the start yet they didn’t perform it live T.T
- For You : To be perfectly honest, I haven’t listened to this song as much as I should before the concert so I didn’t expect it to be that exciting. Now it is one of my favorite songs from them
- Ment 2: They talked about the solo stages this time. Myungsoo sang Woohyun’s high note “everydaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy” part and he was hit it so well!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t remember what did they say but I do remember the part where Woohyun asked us to sing the part of everyday but we got so quiet and Woohyun who was a little taken off went “thank you”. I feel so bad L
- Julia : Woohyun throwing hearts to Sunggyu and they kind of singing to each other and y
- Nothing’s Over : Woohyun being cute. Woohyun being too cute. I can only remember that~~~ And yes, nothing’s over is my ultimate favorite song from infinite. And yes, I almost cried back then hinggggggg T.T babies too cute to be true. Also they laughed so much hingggg babies T.T
- Entrust & Cover Girl : They played around on this stage. Sungyeol and Myungsoo went to our section and doing their couple thing. Myungsoo was singing his solo part and Sungyeol did an “L” sign behind him it was so adorableeeeeee. Also the 91 liners were playing around together. It was so cute (how many adorable and cute words I’m going to say on this post, stay tune). Hmm what else??? It was already a month ago how am I supposed to remember the details. But really, it was the most fun stages of the concert because you know, they were playing around. There were lots of otp happened during these stages. Alsoooooooo, they were throwing paper planes. Hukkkkkkkkkkk I got none.

- The Chaser : Another my favorite song of mine. Their dance T.T T.T
- Ment 3 : They make Sungjong said thanks to the people behind the stage etc etc etc. There were many fanservice during this ment, Woohyun played with a bottle like it was a freaking ball. I didn’t even know him anymore.
- Bad: We were singing along through the 1st verse and just did the fanchant until the end of the song. It was amazing.
- Comeback Again : Before they start the encore stage, we chanted “다시돌아와” for the whole 1 minute? The stage was really…….amazing and touching. I mean, it is their debut song how can it not touching :””””))))))))
- Last ment : aka where their Indonesian ment attack. It was so greasy cheesy. Myungsoo, Sungyeol, Woohyun were speaking Indonesian but I didn’t really pay attention because Sunggyu was talking with a fan before him and he was so cute so he took all of my attention. I only realized it when “kamu unyu banget. Kamu unyu banget. kamu jadian sama gue aja” from Woohyun. I was cringing hard. This was indeed my favorite ment out of all. I appreciate their effort of speaking Indonesian. Hoya did the ho yaaaaaaaa ho yaaaaaa thingy. Ah babiessssssssssssssss I love them so much.
- Together :For some reason, I was in the front most of the stage and I didn’t realize it because I was crying through the whole song to realize that Sunggyu was singing Woohyun’s part without him realizing that and that I actually recorded it. Ah I think I was only looking at Woohyun. His high note in this song was no joke. Also he did a little improvisation on that. What an amazing way to wrap a concert indeed.
I love everything about it. And the boys, although it was
clearly showing that they were tired, after their Singapore concert, they were
all smiling and had fun through the concert. There was one time where Dongwoo said "I love inspirits, I love Hoya" on one of the ment i forgot which one. Hmm there were lots of things happened that I barely remember so i didnt put them down to prevent misunderstanding. For the bad news, Sunggyu was a little sick I think,
I caught him coughing for few times. Poor baby :(
I watched it with the thoughts of "Okay I'm going to see them and after that I'll be their fan like I used to. Calm and Chill and like usual fan" But I didn't. I'm drowniiiingggg in their loooovvveeeee~~~
Overall, this concert was really fun and it was soooooooooo
worth everything.

for being one of the highlights of my year. Thank you for being so awesome.
